Flames left back Precious Sambani and Under 20 forward Peter Banda will travel to Belgium next week for trials with Belgian Champions Club Brugge.
Club Brugge which was founded in 1891 is one of the most decorated clubs in Belgian football.
Flames coach Ronny who is also from Belgium, facilitated the trials to give the youthful players a chance to play in the country that finished third at the just ended World Cup in Russia. The two will undergo trials between 17th and 31st August.
Sambani, who has been linked with a move to Blantyre giants Nyasa Big Bullets is on loan at Super League champions Befoward Wanderers from Namiwawa FC while Banda plays for FMB Under 20 League side Griffin Youngsters.
Confirming the development, van Geneugden popularly known as RVG said the two players have what it takes to make it in Europe.
“I have worked with them and they are very talented young players. This is a big chance for them to realize their dream of making it big in football and I am sure they will make it,” said RVG.
Banda has been a reliable striker for the junior Flames after making a name at the 2016 Cosafa Under 17 Youth Championship, where he won the top goal scorer award with 5 goals.
On the other hand Sambani became the most sought after player locally following his outstanding performance at the 2018 Cosafa Cup that took place in South Africa in June.
