Football lovers mourns as former Flames striker Tony Chitsulo dies

The sport of football in Malawi is in mourning following the death of former Super League player Tony Chitsulo.
The player passed away on Friday,at his residence in Bangwe after a long illness.
The sad development happens just a day ahead of Malawi national football team-The Flames’ game against Madgascar in Chan qualifiers.

Chitsulo, was part of Malawi Under 17 national team that won the zone six games in South Africa.
The former Bangwe Madrid player won a number of silverware with Silver Strikers before he moved to Be Forward Wanderes.
Despite being one of the exciting strikers, Chitsulo’s career who won the golden boot in 2011, ended prematuary due to transfer disputes with the Central Bankers.
According to one of his family members, details of Tony’s burrial arrangements will be announced later.
