Malawi Queens releases names as Mwawi and Joyce Mvula features in squad

Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) has released a list of 22 Malawi Queens players who are expected to go into training camp on Monday 5 March at Blantyre Youth Centre where they will start preparing for the Taini Jamison trophy and 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

The squad will be headed by Griffin ‘Zagaro’ Saenda and his assistant White Mulilima.
According to a statement released by NAM, Taini Jamison Trophy is scheduled to take place in Auckland, New Zealand from 21 to 24 March 2018 while Gold Coast Commonwealth in Australia from 5 to 15 April.

The team will be in camp for a period of 12 days and is expected to depart Malawi for Auckland, New Zealand on Saturday,  17 March 2018 and return on 17 April after the Commonwealth games.
Malawi Queens’ last match was in England against England Roses in the three netball international series where they lost narrowly 62-60.
