After missing in action for over two weeks, Mighty Be Forward Wanderers are back in the top flight and they are facing Red Lions on Sunday at Mangochi Stadium in Mangochi.
Wanderers have not been playing in the league as they contributed eight players to the national team that was in South Africa for the Cosafa games.
Wanderers team manager Steve Madeira says despite being off for two weeks, his team has no pressure and is well prepared to face the Zomba based soldiers.
He said the Nomads are taking each and every game seriously considering that they did not start the season well
“We’ve been out for two weeks but we take that as a blessing as it has given us an ample time to prepare. I know we did not start well but remember this is is how we started last season when we won the league. What happened last year is happening now and we promise our fans that they will smile again at the end of the season,” said Madeira.
His counterpart Nelson Banda said his team will do everything possible to win the match knowing that they will be playing at home.
Elsewhere, Nomads neighbors Nyasa Big Bullets will be at Mulanje Park hosting Masters Security who seem to have resurrected following their wins in the last two games against Dwangwa United and Kamuzu Barracks.
The league leaders have been struggling in the past two weeks having drawn two games against Civo Sporting and Karonga United.
On Sunday, the peoples team will be welcoming back their three players John Lanjesi, Patrick Phiri and Chiukepo Msowoya who were away with the Flames on national duties.
