Straight from a mesmerizing performance at Masintha Ground in Lilongwe, Taygrin is taking his celebratory free shows to Blantyre and the venue is Chichiri Upper Stadium.
Posting on his Facebook page, Taygrin said the show will take place on Saturday June 23 from 12 noon till evening.
During the awards, the self proclaimed Nyau King walked away with Best Male Artist and Best Music Video awards.
Taygrin is no stranger to awards as he has been winning several of them, both locally and internationally, ever since he ventured the music industry.
However, the Chipapapa hit maker said he has never had a big show to celebrate with his fans so he thought it wise to hold free music shows as one way of appreciating the support he receives from the local fans.
“I have always been doing ‘thank you’ shows in places where not everybody can make it. Now I want more people to enjoy. We did it in Lilongwe, On 23 we will be in Blantyre and then Mzuzu.
As an Artist I always feel good to share my joy with people who love my music and I will always make sure i value them accordingly,” he said.
Apart from the free shows, the artist is also holding workshops with up-and-coming musicians to share skills with them. Before the Masintha show, he interacted with 65 young artists at Ifive in Area 15 in Lilongwe.
Some months ago, another hip-hop artist Fredokiss made headlines after holding free shows in the four cities of Malawi that were patronized by thousands of people.
