Three Mighty Be Forward Wanderers players—Peter Wadabwa, Jaffali Chande and Lucky Malata—have returned to full training ahead of their fifth TNM Super League second round match against Nyasa Big Bullets at Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.
Defender Lucky Malata and forwards Peter Wadabwa and Jaffali Chande resumed training on Tuesday after missing a number of games due to injuries and illness.Team Doctor Samuel Matukuta told the Club’s official website that the players responded well to treatment and will be available for selection.“Malata is back in full training. He has responded well to the treatment and we are optimistic that he will go through training without a glitch… Chande is also back as well as Wadabwa.
“Wadabwa missed the Karonga and central region trips due to illness, but he has since recovered and is taking part in full training,” Matukuta is quoted as saying.
Likewise, Bullets have welcomed back midfield Dalitso Sailesi who terminated his five-year deal with Zambian MTN Premier League outfit, Lusaka Dynamos for its failure to pay him dues amounting K7.5 million. Sailesi has been cleared, nearly two months after terminating his contract. Second-placed Wanderers trail Bullets by seven points, having bagged 38 points from 19 games apiece.
Elsewhere, third placed Silver Strikers travel to Nkhotakota where they will play against Mafco FC at Chitowe Stadium on Saturday. Silver have 36 points from 18 games while the hosts are on fourteenth with 15 points from the same number of games.Civil Sporting, who are on fifth position with 26 points from 18 games, travel to the northern region where they play against Moyale and Mzuni FC on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.Moyale FC are on twelfth position with 21 points from 18 games while Mzuni FC are second from the bottom with 15 points from 19 games.
Kamuzu Barracks and TN Stars will battle it out at Kasungu Stadium with Red Lions hosting log table anchors Nchalo United at Mangochi Stadium.TN Stars are sixth with 24 points while Kamuzu Barracks are thirteenth with 21 points from 18 games apiece. Red Lions are eleventh with 22 points from 19 games while Nchalo United have 11 points from 18 games.And on Sunday, Masters Security will host Blue Eagles at Dedza Stadium with Tiger FC playing away to Dwangwa United at Chitowe Stadium. Masters are on ninth position with 23 points while Blue Eagles are on fourth position with 28 points from 18 games apiece.
