Lilongwe based gospel poet, Daniel Zabuloni Dama is set to launch his third poem album titled ‘la 40 likwana’ scheduled to take place on March 4, 2018 at Lilongwe Church of Central Africa Presbytery (CCAP).
He revealed about the development in an interview on Tuesday saying he is geared to launch his CD with other different artists.“All is set to launch my CD as we have brought together diverse performers and activities,” Zabuloni disclosed.
He added that, the launch would start at 1:30 pm and he said the show is open to everyone as there is no entry fee.
Zabuloni said he has been working on the new poem projects for a time with an aim of polishing up the quality of his poems.The poet described his poetry journey as a success despite some challenges along the way.“My poet has been so good; but mixed with some challenges due to lack of funds; but the challenges have not pulled me back regarding that I take my poems as a ministry to reach to people,” Zabuloni explained.
He said that Lilongwe CCAP have given him a hall at a free price for the launch of his album.
Zabuloni said he released his first album in 2012 titled ‘ufunilanji umboni wina’ and it was double launched in December 2016 while the second album titled ‘sankhani chimodzi’ was released in 2014 however was not launched due to financial hiccups .
The launch will be spiced by music performances done by the Marvelous deeds, Lilongwe crusaders Band, Ronald Thamakela and Madala choir just to mention a few.The supporting Poets will include, Nyamalikiti Nthiwatiwa, Chifundo Jere, ackson Ngalande, Imulani Makande and Mvangeli Sadzu and drama which will be done by Kachere priso
