The Malawi Judiciary has announced the appointment of a seasoned communications specialist,Ruth Mputeni,as its new spokesperson.
She joins the Judiciary from the Public Service Pension Trust Fund.
According to Chief Registrar Innocent Nebi, Mputeni will serve as the Chief Corporate Affairs and Public Relations Officer(PRO).
He says with 10 years of experience in journalism, communications, and public relations, Mputeni brings valuable expertise to the role.
Nebi concludes that as spokesperson, Mputeni will drive strategic communication, promoting the Judiciary’s commitment to openness, accountability, and meaningful public engagement.
Mputeni holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Media Management from Rhodes University in South Africa and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Malawi (UNIMA ).
