According to the statement, the break is both intentional and necessary, offering the artist time to reset, recalibrate, and reconnect with the core purpose of the art.
The pause is also aimed at protecting the integrity of Temwah’s music, ensuring that future releases remain authentic and meaningful.
During this period, Temwah will not be involved in recording sessions, live performances, promotions or collaborations.
The announcement has surprised many fans, given the artist’s recent visibility and active presence within the music space.
However, management has reassured supporters that the decision was made with long-term growth and sustainability in mind.
No detailed personal or professional reasons were disclosed, as the focus of the statement remained on creative wellbeing.
The press release further outlines that Temwah’s music activities are expected to resume in December 2026.
Management noted that the return will depend on the right timing and creative readiness, when the artist’s “time and voice feel right again.”
The statement concludes with a message from management reaffirming continued support for Temwah and encouraging the public to follow official platforms for updates.
However, social media is awash with a photo of Temwah arriving in UK which suggests the singer is out for the country. It’s not confirmed yet if her move is permanent
Revolutionary President of Muvi wa Chilungamo Revolutionary Party (MRP) Bantu Saunders Jumah the Utopian, says Malawians are not ready or expecting to hear the arrests of MCP officials, saying if anything everyone wants to know, is the truth about the death of Dr. Saulosi Klaus Chilima.
Jumah said Malawians wants to know if the plane crash that killed Dr. Chilima and eight others, in the Chikangawa forest on the 10th June, 2024 was truly a plane crash or an assassination saying Malawians wants to see MCP officials in jail if courts prove them that they were involved in the killing, corruption and embezzlement of state funds and property.
He said this country is tripping backwards in poverty, under development, and cracking through tribal tribulations saying Malawians need healing, need development, and unity as one country observing that one Malawi one people is failing because the country’s politics is divisive, destructive, nepotistic, and of hatred.
The Late Saulos Chilima
Speaking through a Revolutionary statement, Jumah has appealed for the second time to President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika as well as the Public Affairs Committee (PAC) to push for the establishment of an institution –Inter- Party Organization for Dialogue and Reconciliation (IPOD- RE) in Malawi.
Jumah said the IPOD- RE will infuse, inject unifying nerves in all political players for all political formations assuring President Professor Mutharika that without the establishment of this institution, Malawi will never taste total and blanket development.
He said Madame Dr. Joyce Banda, first woman President of the country used her infinite intelligence to serve the clean waters of Lake Malawi, she sent politics on holiday and applied patriotism saying the lake was served, no portion went to Tanzania, the lake belongs to Malawi as it was before.
The Revolutionary President said in 2023 President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera invited Dr. Bakili Muluzi, Dr. Joyce Banda, Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, Paramount Kyungu, Mmbelwa, Gomani, Lundu and other political parties around the table.
He said after winning the 16th September, 2025 elections with a landslide victory, President Professor Mutharika in his speech at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre declared that his victory was for all citizens of Malawi not only for DPP followers or people of the South and North.
“We are placing ourselves on the forefront to help President Professor Mutharika and all other stakeholders to see to it that IPOD-RE is instituted in the country,” said Jumah.
He said Malawi politics needs ‘compromise” advising Malawi politicians to set aside their pride or egocentricity, they have a nation to build, and a nation they owe it to the future generations, warning them that if they cannot plant this seed of unity now, the country’s future is betrayed.
Political activist Bon Kalindo, has called on parliamentarians to pass a deliberate that will see the rich and politicians not entering the prison corridors claiming that as the writings are on the wall, prisons were built for the poor people.
Kalindo said the poor people, those who have no money to buy justice are the ones who are being sent to prison unlike the rich and politicians who use money to buy for themselves competent lawyers to represent them in court to walk to freedom.
He said visiting the country’s prisons, one may shed tears down the cheeks that why these poor people are languishing for the minor offences they committed while the rich and politicians are being left to swing outside prisons?
Chimwendo
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has observed that the country takes poor people as useless in the society saying this is why they are rotting in the country’s prisons but the country values most the poor people to go and vote for leaders of their choice.
Kalindo has observed that two High Court Judges Mzonde Mvula and Kenyatta Nyirenda have released MCP Secretary General Richard Chimwendo Banda unconditionally for the attempted murder charges he was answering in court.
He said the two court Judges granted an injunction to Chimwendo Banda from further be arrested by Police and if he has a case, he should be invited to court by means of a summon speaking for itself that money has bought him freedom not justice.
“Where is the country going with its laws up to an extent of pointing that this one should not be arrested?” questioned Kalindo.
In the audio clip, Kalindo has thanked Deputy Minister of Homeland Security Norman Paulosi Chisale for visiting and appreciating how poor people are being abused by Immigration officers after taking their money as bribes for passports which do not come to them.
Kalindo said Chisale heard for himself the cries of the poor people that some people paid bribes for speedy processing of their passports and it has taken one year nothing, while the rich and politicians, when they go, the passport are printed straight away. r
He has called on Chisale to make sure that those who swindled money for the poor people and have failed to print passports to be fired from the Immigration offices expressing hope that Norman Chisale’s visit to the Immigration offices in Lilongwe will bear fruits.
“When Chisale was appointed to the position he is, people talked and talked of him, today, he is doing a commendable job standing together with those that are crying, this is the type of ministers Malawians wants,” said Kalindo
