President Lazarus Chakwera has awarded the prestigious title of Senior Counsel to 13 distinguished lawyers in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the legal profession in Malawi.
The awardees were selected based on a recommendation from the Honours Committee of the Malawi Law Society.
The recipients of the Senior Counsel title are Mr. Kamudoni Nyasulu, Mr. Ralph Mhone, Mr. Maziko S. Phiri, Ms. Emily Makuta, Hon. Titus Mvalo, Mr. Pempho Likongwe, Hon. Thabo C. Nyirenda, Mr. James Masumbu, Ms. Innocentia Otto, Mr. Marshal Chilenga, Mr. Garton Kainja (posthumously), and Mr. Alex Nampota (posthumously).
This esteemed title is a testament to the awardees’ dedication, expertise, and commitment to upholding the highest standards of the legal profession.
