Britam Insurance on Monday donated K6 million towards the 2025 Insurance Institute of Malawi (IIM) Lake Conference, scheduled for October 2 to 4, 2025, in Mangochi.
Speaking during the cheque handover ceremony in Blantyre, Britam Country Sales Manager, Maclonex Mwase, said the annual conference provides a valuable platform for insurance professionals to exchange ideas and foster industry growth.
“At Britam, our mission is to safeguard dreams and aspirations. Supporting this conference aligns with that purpose, as it helps strengthen the insurance sector in Malawi,” said Mwase.
On his part,IIM President, Reuben Kamanga Kawelelele, expressed gratitude for the support and confirmed that preparations for the event are well underway.
The conference is expected to bring together key players in the insurance industry to discuss emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities for sustainable growth.
