World Star Bet has reaffirmed its commitment to football development in Malawi after unveiling a K100 million sponsorship package for Blue Eagles Football Club for the next one year.
The sponsorship deal was officially launched on Wednesday night during a ceremony held at the Malawi Police Service (MPS) National Headquarters in Lilongwe.
In his remarks,World Star Bet Country Director Timothy Kandimba said the company was delighted to continue its partnership with Blue Eagles, describing the sponsorship as part of efforts to support the growth of football in the country.

Kandimba expressed confidence that the partnership would help strengthen the club and improve competitiveness in the domestic league.
On his part,Deputy Inspector General (DIG ) of Police Noel Kayira commended World Star Bet for the sponsorship, saying the support would motivate players and boost the team’s performance.
Blue Eagles finished fourth in the league last season and have had a mixed start to the 2026 FDH Bank Premiership campaign.
The team opened the season with a 2-0 victory over Ekhaya at Civo Stadium before losing 1-0 to Chitipa United at Chitipa Stadium.
