She said the initiative is motivated by her personal kindness and genuine desire to help children who struggle to afford basic school requirements.

Daudi said she believes education is one of the greatest gifts that can be given to a child and wants to play her part in helping learners remain in school and pursue their education.

She also clarified that the initiative is not linked to politics or any political ambitions.

Daudi said she has never aspired to become a politician and has no plans to venture into politics, stressing that her focus is on giving back to the community and improving the lives of children.

She said seeing children benefit from the support is, in itself, enough reward for her.

The police officer however, appealed to individuals, organisations and other well-wishers with the capacity to support children to come forward and contribute towards education initiatives.

According to Daudi, even small contributions can make a meaningful difference in a child’s education.

She also expressed gratitude to those who have supported her initiative, revealing that she has received contributions of up to K1 million from various individuals.

Daudi said although she cannot mention all the contributors by name, their support has played an important role in making the initiative possible.

The police officer, who is also the founder of Tawfeeq Chowe Madras, encouraged communities to continue investing in children’s education, saying supporting learners is an investment in the future.
