Mighty Wanderers diehard supporter Chifundo Kajiso has raised concerns over the team’s struggle to score more than one goal per game, warning that the weakness could undermine their chances of defending the league title.
Kajiso’s concerns follow the Nomads’ 1-1 draw against Karonga United, a result she believes highlights the need for greater attacking efficiency and improved finishing in front of goal.
She has urged the technical panel and players to focus on creating clear-cut scoring opportunities, improving creativity in midfield and making better use of chances instead of shifting blame to refereeing decisions.
Kajiso has also stressed that constructive criticism should not be mistaken for disloyalty, saying genuine supporters have a responsibility to speak out when the team needs to improve.
She believes Wanderers must demonstrate greater consistency, accountability and determination to remain competitive in the title race, particularly with rivals Nyasa Big Bullets also challenging for the championship.
Despite her concerns, Kajiso says she remains a proud Nomad and hopes the team will address its attacking weaknesses before they cost the club valuable points in the league campaign.
