Arsenal is reportedly interested in signing 22-year-old Athletic Club Bilbao attacker Nico Williams during the summer transfer window.
The Spanish international has been outstanding for both club and country, and his versatility across the front three could make him a valuable addition to the Arsenal squad.
According to reports, Arsenal is willing to offer Williams a substantial salary of €9 million per season and trigger his €62 million release clause.
The Gunners are in desperate need of a dynamic attacker, and Williams’ pace, creativity, and goal-scoring ability could make a significant difference in the final third.
Williams has been linked to Barcelona, and he would reportedly prefer to join the Spanish champions.
However, Barcelona’s interest in Liverpool’s Luis Diaz might create an opportunity for Arsenal to sign Williams.
The 22-year-old’s impressive stats last season, with 11 goals and seven assists, suggest he could thrive in Arsenal’s attacking lineup alongside players like Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka.
