CapeStars extends partnership  Zeze Kingston

By Chisomo Phiri

Liquor and spirits trader CapeStars on Monday renewed its partnership with Amapiano star Zeze Kingston through a new one-year brand ambassadorship deal aimed at strengthening the company’s market presence.

Speaking during the agreement signing ceremony at HS Winehouse in Namiwawa, Blantyre, CapeStars Director Darlington Ndasauka said the renewed partnership reflects the company’s new strategic direction as it seeks to consolidate growth achieved over the past three years.

Said Ndasauka:“We have been around for three years and have laid solid footprints. We want to sustain that momentum and we believe the partnership with Zeze Kingston will be instrumental in helping us break new ground. We are a growing brand and so is his brand, and we want to grow together.”

On his part, Kingston said he is proud of the continued trust CapeStars has shown in his ability to help push the brand further.

“It is an exciting moment for me as an individual and as a brand. Together we will tap into each other’s strengths and from that synergy we will achieve something big. There are several campaigns that are appealing, such as the ‘Bring Back the Bottles’ initiative, which needs to be intensified for us to beat the forex challenge. I want to ensure that goal is achieved,” he said.

The ‘Ndilira Mumvura’ hitmaker was first unveiled as CapeStars’ brand ambassador three years ago.
