Creck Sporting Club to release findings on coach suspension next week

By Shaffie A Mtambo

Creck Sporting Club has announced that it will release the findings of its internal review regarding the suspension of head coach Joseph Kamwendo next week.

The decision follows a disciplinary hearing held on Thursday night, where Kamwendo, his assistant Abel Mkandawire, and striker trainer Chiukepo Msowoya were summoned to share their perspectives on the team’s poor performance.

The club’s chairperson, Muhammad Selemani, confirmed that the hearing was conducted to allow the trio to provide insight before a final decision is made.

Selemani also addressed speculation surrounding potential replacements for Kamwendo, dismissing reports linking Creck with former Malawi National Team coach Ernest Mtawali as mere speculation.

Creck currently struggles in the TNM Super League, sitting 14th with five points from six matches.

The team has registered one win, two draws, and three losses, scoring just three goals while conceding nine.
