Dorothy Kingston has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Fashion Icon Award by organizers of this year’s UMP Festival, recognizing her influential style and leadership in Malawi’s fashion scene.
According to a statement released by festival officials, the award celebrates Kingston’s outstanding contribution to fashion, particularly her ability to set trends and inspire others through her distinctive wardrobe choices
The accolade also aims to encourage her continued role as a style leader in the country.
The presentation of the award will take place during the UMP Festival, scheduled from 21st to 27th October in Cape Maclear, Mangochi.
