The Film Association of Malawi (Fama) has officially opened its offices at Area 3 in the city of Lilongwe.
The launch of the new offices took place on Saturday afternoon at the office premises and was presided over by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.
Bushiri commended the association and its leadership for their dedication to developing the film industry in the country and has since pledged to donate a brand new vehicle to the association.

He however, advised Fama to continue exploring other ways of generating revenue for the association grow bigger and better.
In her remarks, Fama president Dorothy Kingston thanked Prophet Bushiri and other well wishers who have helped the association to have office premises.
She said the new offices will help Fama to work better and reach more filmmakers in the country.
