Patricia Kaliati, political advisor to the leader of the UTM Party, has issued a strong condemnation of the current administration, accusing it of mismanaging the country’s resources.
According to Kaliati, the economic mismanagement has caused immense suffering among ordinary Malawians, who are now bearing the brunt of poor leadership.

Speaking during a rally in Mwanza, she urged the people in the district to rally behind Dalitso Kabambe in the upcoming elections.
Kaliati expressed confidence that Kabambe has the vision and capacity to revive Malawi’s struggling economy and steer the nation in a better direction.
Her remarks were echoed by Felix Njawala, the party’s spokesperson and aspiring parliamentary candidate for the Central Region constituency in Mwanza.
Njawala emphasized that the time had come for Malawians to embrace real development by voting for the UTM Party.
He added that UTM offers practical solutions to the economic challenges facing the country, and that electing the party would be a step toward progress and transformation.
Both leaders called for unity and decisive action among voters, urging them to make informed choices that prioritize national development over political loyalty.
They concluded their addresses by promising that UTM would bring tangible improvements to the lives of Malawians, especially those in marginalized districts like Mwanza.
