Social commentator Stanley Onjezani Kenani, has thanked Malawians for coming out speaking on Amaryllis Hotel sale saying their fight was not in vain, there is hope.
Writing on his face book page, Kenani said he is very happy to hearing what the Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) has done that it has given the Public Service Pension Trust Fund (PSPTF) to rescind its decision reached to buy Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre.

He said the Reserve Bank of Malawi has instructed the Financial Intelligence Authority ( FIA) to follow up the money saying so far, K76 billion has been frozen or preserved.
The commentator said each Pension Trust Fund trustee has been slapped with a K40 million penalty for which they are personally liable and must pay within seven days.
” The Reserve Bank of Malawi has referred the matter to various prosecutorial authorities to take action,” reads Kenani’s writings on the wall.
Counsel Bob Chimkango writing on his face book has written a food for thought that in their wisdom today, the Reserve Bank of Malawi has frozen the Amaryllis Hotel operating accounts, saying they should not cry tomorrow if the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal orders compensation to the owner of Amaryllis Hotel.
