By Rahim Abdul

King Msaiwale Kavina, the owner of Champions Stadium in Mponela, Dowa, has donated K40 million to two Super League teams, Kamuzu Barracks and Blue Eagles.

Each team received K20 million to help alleviate their financial challenges.

The donation was made during a handover ceremony, where Kavina explained that his decision to support the teams was motivated by their regular use of Champions Stadium.

He expressed his desire to give back to the teams that have made his stadium a hub of exciting football action.

Blue Eagles Chief Administration Officer Muhammad Ali and Kamuzu Barracks Chairperson Major Dickson Mhango both expressed their gratitude for Kavina’s generosity.

They noted that the financial support would go a long way in addressing critical needs at their respective clubs, enabling them to focus on their performance in the Super League.

The donation is a significant boost to the two teams, which have been striving to make a mark in the Super League.

As the Super League continues to gain momentum, Kavina’s donation is a timely intervention that will help Kamuzu Barracks and Blue Eagles to stay competitive and pursue their goals with renewed vigor. The teams are expected to use the funds to improve their infrastructure, training, and player welfare, among other critical areas.
