As primary elections continue in MCP, one of the most contentious constituencies of Mzimba Central has spoken in favor of President Lazarus Chakwera’s Advisor on Rural transformation, Adamson Joseph Kuseri Mkandawire
In a long awaited primary elections, Kuseri Mkandawire got 262 votes against 5 of Vitumbiko Mumba who is the Minister of Trade.
This has brought to an end the long time debate on who is to represent MCP in the constituency.
The elections were held at Katunguwiri school on Sunday, 11th May, 2025.
