Jumah says Malawians will reclaim lost democracy in 2025

By Vincent Gunde

President and Commander in Chief of Muvi wa Chilungamo Revolutionary Party (MRP) Bantu Saunders Jumah, says the 2025 elections will not just be ordinary elections but extraordinary elections to reclaim lost democracy and the rule of law in Malawi.

Jumah said MCP and state -run MBC TV and radio are being fooled that social media have no impact thinking that starting programmes to blackmail free thinking will change Malawians to set their eyes on President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his MCP government back to power in 2025.

He said Malawians have opened their eyes that MCP fooled them in 2020 that it is now a rebranded, repainted, and democratic party with President Chakwera being a man of God observing that Chakwera went around the country apologizing for the past MCP atrocities for the citizens to trust him.

Speaking through a Revolutionary voice in various social media platforms, Jumah said Malawians have now proved for themselves that President Chakwera is the main culprit who has destroyed democracy and the rule of law in Malawi.

Jumah said without the departed Dr. Saulosi Chilima and UTM forming an electoral Alliance in 2020, Malawians could not have accepted Chakwera’s apology that the former MCP murdered Dick Matenje, Aaron Gadama, Twaibu Sangala and David Chiwanga on 18th May, 1983.

He said Malawi is not a country of dunderheads and fools, Malawi is a God-fearing country claiming that whatever is being done in the country, God is guiding Malawians on what to do lamenting that all freedom fighters have gone to their graves and there’s no one who can claim that Malawi is for his own family, friends and relatives.

The MRP President said on 14th June, 1993 citizens in Malawi spoke truth that they want democracy in their country to power with no political party on their side while the MCP was busy advocating for the country’s citizens to reject democracy as it will bring war in Malawi.

He said President Chakwera and his MCP have gone back to become a wolf proving to the world that a hyena is a hyena even if it changes mountains, it will remain a hyena dismissing Chakwera’s apologies that MCP is now a rebranded party under his leadership.

“MDF, NIS, MPS cannot do anything without the knowledge of the President, Malawi has now been turned into dictatorship, one-party state and has a government of terror,” said Jumah.

Meanwhile, Jumah has told political activist Bon Kalindo that his advises and worries over Malawi going to the dogs are genuine informing him that opposition parties are not quiet neither afraid of arrests, detention without trial and imprisonment for speaking against President Chakwera and his MCP.

Jumah has assured Kalindo that opposition parties are watching everything happening in Malawi with their eyes that in 2025, the citizens power will send all corrupt politicians, mafias, crooks, killers to the bush for a government of the people, for the people and by the people to be reclaimed back in Malawi.
