Malawian musicians Janta and Onesmus have taken to Social Media to mourn the death of their long time friend, musician Malome Vector from Lesotho who has died in a car accident.
Malome Vector who was staying in South Africa died on Wednesday afternoon alongside some of his friends, following the accident.
He was one of Janta’s close friends in South Africa and was featured in Onesimus’ song titled “My Woman” alongside the ‘Divorce’ hit-maker.
Last night Onesmus posted a picture of himself and Malome Vector in studio recording what would be the artists’ last collaboration.
In an emotional Facebook post on Wednesday evening, Onesmus described Malome Vector as a true friend who was always there for him.
“My best friend, brother, cousin, support system, director and many more things you were to me, no one celebrated me like you did, we traveled around the world together when I was down you always laughed and say it’s just another storm and it will pass,
Last night we spoke like any other normal night together in the studio with Malome Vector and Lizwi not knowing you guys were saying good bye to me, I’m still in disbelief why so soon dude, my heart is broken and bleeding…. I don’t even know what to say 💔💔💔💔💔💔…” Reads the post on Facebook.
The “Controller ” hit-maker also shared the old pictures of himself and Malome Vector which shows that the two have indeed been close friends for a long time.
Apart from Malome Vector, the accident has also claimed the life of renowned South African-based videographer ‘Da Mos’ who was in the same vehicle with Vector.
Da Mos directed songs of some of Malawi’s top musicians like Onesimus ,Janta, Zeze Kingston, Saint and T Kellz.
