The belief has been like that because even in terms of voting parten DPP and UDF have been enjoying majority votes.

Little did they know that Blantyre can be shaken like that since yesterday courtesy of Minister of Local Government Richard William Chimwendo Banda , Bulldozzer and his counterpart Minister of Homeland Security Ken Zikhale Ng’oma aka Nyamazikuluzikulu.

The message was clear from all speakers: ‘President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera is here to stay and change Malawi’.

During the rally, thousands of party supporters in MCP attire while waving MCP flags ullulated and danced while noding to the messages which the speakers delivered.

Two MCP diehards thanked the President Dr Lazarus Chakwera for sending the Ministers to address the Blantyre people.

“For long time people view MCP as a party of Central region that is no longer like that look how big has been the rally here at Chilobwe. Let me thank Hon Chimwendo, Hon Zikhale Ng’oma, Hon Abida Mia even Hon Moses Kunkuyu for this rally,” said Jacob Sipuni.
