Old town rivals Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers will this afternoon face off at Bingu National Stadium ( BNS) in Lilongwe in the last call of Airtel Top 8 cup.
If Bullets win, it will well mean that this year the side will boast of claiming 82 million Kwacha from a treble of major trophies.
Bullets already took to account 40 Million Kwacha after being TNM Super League champions and 25 Million Kwacha from FDH Cup championship and the 17 million Kwacha today is in sight.

Blue Eagles FC midfielder Stuart Mbunge has announced his retirement from active football at the age of 27.
Mbunge says he has made the decision following a drop in form in the recent games.
He said, “I would like to announce my retirement from active football effective today 13th December, 2022.
I have made this decision looking at my current form; It seems my body is now exhausted hence the retirement.”
He has since thanked the club’s management, technical panel, fans and his fellow players for the support they offered during his time at the club.
Mbunge who has played for the Area 30 side for over 9-years, says he will be available to offer other services at the club if needed.
Stuart Mbunge who is a police officer, made headlines in 2018 when came in as a substitute to score a winning goal for Blue Eagles against Nyasa Big Bullets and win the prestigious Airtel Top 8 trophy for the police side.

President Lazarus Chakwera has arrived in Washington DC for the US-Africa Leaders’ Summit that Unites States of America President, Joe Biden is hosting from tomorrow, December 13,2022.
Chakwera who will be attending the Summit at the invitation of President Biden said the summit will foster new trade and investment linkages with USA and other multilateral institutions.

“I will also take an opportunity to advance Malawi’s interests on the economy, education, health, good governance, peace, security, and climate change among other areas.” Said President Chakwera writing on his official Facebook page upon his departure for USA.
The USALS will focus on renegotiating the parameters of investment and trade between Africa and USA in the context of the recently ratified Africa continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and President Chakwera is expected to use the summit to bid for greater US investment in the agro-industrialization agenda of Malawi 2063.
Upon his arrival in Washington DC, President Chakwera who has been accompanied by the country’s First Lady was welcomed by Malawi’s Minister of Agriculture, Sam Kawale, Malawi’s Ambassador to USA, Justice Esme Chombo, and other senior Government Officials that are part of Malawi’s delegation to the summit.
The summit will focus on renegotiating the parameters of investment and trade between Africa and the US in the context of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have completed the signing of the 22-year-old attacking midfielder, Mphatso Kamanga from Karonga United
Kamanga who has signed a three-term contract, was unveiled on Monday at the club’s headquarters in Blantyre.
The news comes just a day after the team’s 2-0 victory over Blue Eagles and five days before they take on rivals Nyasa Big Bullets in the Airtel Top 8 final.
