Nyasa Big Bullets’s bid to win the CECAFA Kagame Cup as a guest team ended in tears after the People’s team lost 1-0 to Ugandan side Express FC at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Saturday.

Bullets’s inform striker Bright Munthali had a chance to draw the People’s team level in the 35th minute after being released by Babatunde Adepoju but his effort went just wide of the post.

New signing Adepoju, saw his goal at the stroke of halftime disallowed for an offside forcing Bullets to go into the first half break trailing 1-0 to the Ugandans.

In the second half coach Peter Mponda replaced McFallen Mgwira with Hassan Kajoke who nearly found the equalizer for Bullets but his header was blocked by Express defender.
