The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has confirmed that it is still working to recover its official Facebook page, which was recently hacked by unknown individuals. In a statement made to Zodiak this morning, DPP spokesperson Shadric Namalomba outlined the party’s efforts to restore the compromised page. He highlighted that the inability to regain access to their Facebook account could severely impact the party’s outreach, particularly in a time when digital communication is vital for political engagement and public interaction.

To address the issue, the DPP has reported the hacking incident to Facebook and is exploring multiple avenues to restore its original page.
