In abide to pave chances of positive results on public acceptance of a law marker in their area in the coming general elections ,UTM Vice President for the south also Shadow member of Parliament for Chilomoni,Kabula Nancholi Constituency, Richard Makondi on Wednesday hailed the party leaders at Chimwemwe Orphanage at Nancholi in Blantyre, to tie knots.
Addressing the leaders, Makondi assured them that he has a strong passion to save people in the area and hence will stand as a member of parliament for the constituency.
“I have seen that people in this area are suffering ,we have the hike of the commodity prices, poor access to development and education,I have come to confirm to you that I will stand on UTM ticket as an MP for this area just to bail you out of all these financial hiccups” he said.
Makondi also alluded to that the party under the presidency of Dr Dalitso Kabambe intends to promote people’s livelihood ,mostly among the underserved communities.
Honorable Makondi has been very vocal on politics and is among the trusted politicians on the regards of motivational and active politics in Malawi.
