Struggling TNM Super League outfit Mighty Tigers FC has appealed to well-wishers, companies and fans to come to their rescue financially as the team continues its fight for survival in the 2025 season.
One of the club’s officials, Robin Abambo Alufandika, revealed that the team is currently facing serious financial challenges that are affecting its operations and performance.
“It’s true that things are not going well for us. If we can find a company or an individual willing to support us financially, the team’s situation can improve significantly,” said Alufandika.

He further called upon supporters and football-loving Malawians to assist the team in any possible way be it through moral, material, or financial support to motivate the players during this difficult period.
As of October 21, 2025, Mighty Tigers sit 15th on the TNM Super League table with 17 points from 20 matches, just three points below Moyale Barracks, who occupy 13th place the last safe spot in the relegation battle.
With 10 matches remaining, the Kau Kau boys have a tough mountain to climb if they are to retain their top-flight status.
