Fourth-year Social Work student at the University of Malawi(UNIMA), Brave Manjamkhosi Nkhoma,
has released a novel titled ‘A Worker Who Fired His Boss’ that sheds light on the struggles faced by many Africans due to political,cultural and social disparities.
In an interview with 247 Malawi News, Nkhoma said the novel is a cry for the voiceless, highlighting the plight of Africans still trapped in bondage, often perpetuated by corrupt and tribalistic politicians who disregard the struggles of the poor.

He explained that his own life experiences, as well as those of others in the country and beyond, inspired him to write the novel.
Nkhoma said the novel is currently available in Lilongwe at Ultimate Stationery in Area 3 and in Zomba at the UNIMA.

The young author who started writing in form 1, encouraged fellow youths to start writing now, focusing on themes like community development, politics, and mental health
He expressed optimism that writing can make a lasting impact for future generations.
