Mighty Wanderers dropped two points in the 2025/2026 TNM Super League after drawing 1-1 with Silver Strikers on Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Blessings Mwalilino scored for Wanderers in added minutes of the second half, coming in as a substitute.
However, Silver Strikers equalized within 30 seconds through Chinsisi Maonga’s free kick.

Wanderers’ head coach, Bob Mpinganjira, appreciated his players’ performance but expressed disappointment over the lost point. He also criticized the officiating.
Meanwhile, Silver Strikers’ head coach, Peter Mgangira, was pleased with the single point earned, highlighting that his team maintained their unbeaten record against Wanderers for three years.
In other matches, Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos secured a narrow 1-0 win over Civil Service United at Dedza Stadium. The single goal was enough for Dedza to claim maximum points.
At Creck Sporting Club, the team registered their second win of the season, beating Songwe Border United 2-0.
