Mphatso Magaleta scored a brace as Red Lions beat Jenda United 3-0 to move three points clear at the top of the NBS National Division League.
Magaleta scored the first goal from a rebound in the 32nd minute and completed his brace in the 56th minute from a free kick after Dan Nyambose was fouled by Jenda United defender Chisomo Nyirenda just outside the penalty box.

Substitute Brown Gondwe scored the third goal for the home side in the 73rd minute to insure maximum points for the army side who missed the services of some of their key players due to other duties.
After the match, Mphatso Magaleta was voted man of the match.
The win means that the Malumbo Mkandawire’s side have now accumulated 18 points from 7 games followed by Baka City who are perched on second position with 15 points from the same number of games.
Jenda on the other hand remain bottom on the log table as they are yet to find a point after playing 7 games in the 12-member league.
In other matches played on Saturday, Ndirande Stars beat Ntaja United 1-0 as Baka City beat Chilumba Barracks by the same number of goals.
In Mchinji, Mchinji Villa Football Club were beaten 3-1 at home by Mulanje-based side FOMO FC.
The games will continue on Sunday as third placed Mitundu Baptist takes on fourth placed Bangwe All Stars at Civo Stadium.
Both sides are tied at 12 points but Mitundu have a superior goal difference.
Elsewhere, Namitete Zitha who are on position 6 on the log table will host 5th placed Chintheche United at Mchinji Ground.
