Vice President Michael Usi has received a delegation from the African Climate Foundation (ACF) at his office.
The meeting follows up on discussions held between the Vice President and ACF representatives on the sidelines of the COP29 conference in Baku, Azerbaijan last year.
During the meeting, Vice President Usi expressed gratitude for the support ACF has been providing to the Presidential Delivery Unit, including financial and technical assistance, as well as the provision of a Climate Adaptation and Resilience Advisor.

He commended ACF for following up on agreements made at COP29 and assisting the government in developing bankable projects for climate financing.
ACF Deputy Head of Programmes Zira Quaghe thanked the Vice President for welcoming the delegation and appreciated the opportunity to continue working with the Malawian government on climate-related initiatives.
The meeting underscores the strong partnership between the government and ACF in addressing climate change challenges and promoting sustainable development in Malawi.
