The Ministry of Health has raised alarm over a fake document circulating on social media, which falsely claims to list the names of successful candidates for the positions of Disease Control and Surveillance Assistants (DCSA) and Health Surveillance Assistants (HSA), Grade M.
In a statement issued on August 8, 2025, and signed by D.E.M. Msukwa on behalf of the Secretary for Health, the Ministry described the document as completely fraudulent and urged the public to disregard it in its entirety.

“The Ministry wishes to inform the general public and all concerned candidates that the document is FAKE and should be disregarded,” the statement read.
Officials condemned what they termed the deliberate spreading of false information intended to mislead people and undermine official recruitment processes.
“The Ministry strongly condemns the deliberate spreading of false information intended to mislead the public and undermine official processes,” the release stated.
Authorities further reminded the public that distributing false information is a criminal offense.
The Ministry pledged to trace and take action against those responsible for creating and sharing the fake list.
The Ministry of Health advised all candidates and the public to rely only on official communication channels for accurate information about recruitment and other government processes.
Anyone with information about the circulation of the fraudulent document is encouraged to report to the Ministry or relevant authorities.
