United States-born reggae musician Reemah will headline this year’s Reggae Jam Festival Malawi.
Organisers have confirmed that the festival will take place on December 20 at Grand Business Park in Lilongwe.
For the first time, Reemah, known for her hit song Don’t Want Nothing, will share the stage with local artists.
The line-up includes popular Malawian talents such as Chizmo, Blasto, Kommuniq, and Queen Fyah.

The festival is spearheaded by Jah Kings Promotion, a leading event management company in Malawi.
Richard Chisala, partner at Jah Kings Promotion, described it as exciting to see a top female reggae icon perform alongside the country’s own artists.
Chisala added that Reemah’s Africa tour will also include performances in Senegal and Gambia.
