Gospel musician King James Phiri is set to release his sixth studio album, titled Kwandisekelera Ndi Kumwamba, at Robin’s Park in Blantyre on Sunday.
The new album contains 10 songs aimed at encouraging Christians facing difficult times and reminding them to remain hopeful and trust in God.
Phiri said the songs carry messages of faith, hope and prayer, stressing that God remains the ultimate answer for those going through hardship and despair.
The musician believes the album will inspire listeners to strengthen their relationship with God and remain firm in their faith, regardless of the challenges they encounter in life.

The launch is expected to attract several established gospel musicians who will join Phiri in celebrating the release of his latest musical project.
Among the artists expected to perform are Thoko Katimba, Ndirande Anglican Voices and Marvelous Deeds, alongside other gospel performers.
The album marks another milestone in Phiri’s gospel music career, as he continues using music to spread Christian messages and encourage believers through worship and inspirational songs.
The Sunday launch at Robin’s Park is expected to bring together gospel music lovers for a celebration of faith, music and Christian fellowship.
