Achina Gattah Ase to preach financial literacy during Ghetto Tour

Hip-hop artist, Achina Gattah Ase, has organized a number of music shows dubbed ‘Ghetto Tour’ in Blantyre with an aim of encouraging the youths to work hard and make proper investments.

The tour is part of preparations for this year’s King wa Street Concert.

The tour will start this Saturday, June 10, at New Village House in Kampala and then next weekend in Machinjri.



Achina Ghattah says more venues and dates are going to be announced very soon.

Apart from Achina Ghattah, the show will also feature performances by DJs and other artists from the areas where the shows will be conducted.

The theme for this music tour is ‘Kusaver, Nkudyela Ma Change’ which is an advice to his fans to make sure that they save money and invest the little they have inorder to enjoy in future.

He said, “This time around, I am preaching financial literacy. It’s time for ghetto youths to save and invest first, _kenako ma chenji kudyelela._ “

Achina Ghattah, real -name Mike Mikhaya, believes that equipping young adults with financial literacy skills is crucial for their wellness and financial aid.

The 27-year-old artist made history when he filled Robins Park hall in Blantyre during his King Wa Street concert held on November 20, 2021.
