Police in Dowa have arrested a well-known Lilongwe-based Bishop in connection with the gruesome murder of a 31-year-old FDH Bank employee.
The suspect has been identified as 41-year-old Bishop Medran Chirwa of Fountain of Victory Church in Lilongwe.
Chirwa is alleged to have murdered Tathokoza Salimu, whose body was discovered on September 21, 2026, inside a black Subaru Impreza registration number BZ 21709 at Chinkhota Village near Tatolonga Bridge along the Dzaleka – Dowa Boma Road.
