Richard Chimwendo Banda, the Chief Whip of the Malawi Congress Party (MCP), has called on Malawians to vote for Dr. Lazarus Chakwera in the upcoming elections to ensure continuity in national leadership.
Chimwendo Banda made these remarks during a meeting organized by Lilongwe City South West legislator, Honorable Msungama, at Kaliyeka Sports Ground in Lilongwe.
He emphasized that Dr. Chakwera deserves another term to build on the foundations he has laid, including the construction of high-quality roads, promotion of climate-smart agriculture, support for large-scale farming, national unity, and improved access to higher education.
Chimwendo Banda also assured that the MCP will continue to advocate for peace, particularly during political rallies, and will encourage Malawians to remain united rather than divided.
