The Football Legends Association (FLA) has commended the appointment of Rashid Ntelera as Principal Secretary for Administration in the Office of the President and Cabinet(OPC ).
Ntelera, who serves as one of the trustees of FLA, has been described as a capable and visionary leader by his colleagues in the association.
Speaking to local media on Friday, FLA Board Chairperson Jim Kalua welcomed the appointment, praising Ntelera for his leadership qualities and strong advisory skills.

Kalua said Ntelera’s elevation reflects the organization’s commitment to nurturing effective leaders and ensuring smooth succession planning.
He said:“As board chair and on behalf of all legends, we are very happy with this appointment.”
Kalua highlighted Ntelera’s vast experience in football and other sectors, noting that he has been instrumental in offering strategic advice to the association.
“Personally, I can say Ntelera plays a major role in advisory matters. He has been in the game for a long time, not just in football, but also in top positions across various sectors,” he said.
Kalua further emphasized that FLA remains focused on promoting the welfare of football legends, entrusting capable individuals like Ntelera to manage fiduciary responsibilities with integrity and without personal interest.
