A new technology company, Insight Innovations Limited, has been launched in the country with a mission to provide practical and scalable digital solutions tailored to local businesses.
Speaking during the official launch event in Blantyre on Thursday morning, the company’s Chief Executive Officer(CEO), William Shumba, said the firm was founded on the belief that African and Malawian businesses deserve technology solutions that understand their unique challenges and support their growth.

“Insight Innovations Limited was founded on a simple but powerful belief that African businesses, especially Malawian businesses, deserve technology that understands them, supports them, and grows with them,” said Shumba.
He described the company as a software development firm focused on building reliable and impactful digital tools aimed at solving real business problems.
During the event, Shumba also unveiled the company’s flagship product, InsightBooks, a Point of Sale and Business Management System designed for small and growing enterprises.
According to Shumba, InsightBooks will help business owners track sales in real time, manage inventory efficiently, monitor financial performance, and make informed business decisions.
“Our goal is to help businesses become more efficient, more accountable, and more profitable,” he said.
In addition to the software platform,Shumba also announced the introduction of the company’s BusyBeez, a business engagement platform that will feature podcasts and webinars aimed at supporting entrepreneurs through knowledge-sharing and discussions on business growth.
“Through BusyBeez, we want to walk the journey with our customers not just as a service provider, but as a partner,” he said.
Shumba said the company’s vision is to become a leading force in developing technology solutions that empower businesses across Malawi and beyond.
“Our mission is to simplify business operations through innovative, accessible, and impactful software,” he said.
He expressed confidence in the company’s future and invited businesses, partners, and the public to join the journey toward building smarter businesses and a stronger economy.
