Malawian Afro-pop musician cum-producer Janta has expressed excitement after his song ‘Ndapeza Wina’ got premiered on MTV Base on Monday.
Janta released the video on Wednesday June 30 and has so far been enjoying airplay in most local television channels.
Speaking in an interview Janta said he was happy that his talent is not only recognized here in Malawi but now people from other countries are appreciating his work.
The ‘Divorce’ hit-maker made headlines last year following his separation with his wife Ethel Mollande.
He went on to release ‘Chisoni'(Ndalira) in September last year, a song in which he expressed sorrow after the break-up.
Fast forward mid 2021, Janta- real-name Shukuran Mwachumu, seams to have moved on with life .
In the just released song, the Lilongwe based musician seams to have found a new partner and he is celebrating love in the new song titled ‘Ndapeza Wina’.
However, the artist was quick to mention that the song is not specifically about him but everybody who is in a real love relationship.
“The song is just a dedication to everyone who has gone through a lot and has finally found the one whom they love,” he said.
