The Malawi Congress Party (MCP) candidate for the Nkolokoti Ndirande constituency, Andrew Juma Chisawa, has appealed to the public to vote for Lazarus Chakwera as the country’s President while supporting him, Chisawa, as their member of Parliament candidate.
Chisawa stated that the people in his region have lacked various forms of development for a long time.

During a political larry held in the Mkwate and Ndilekeni in Machinjiri, Blantyre city, Chisawa promised to bring development to the area if elected as MP.
“If you vote for me, I will bring development such as roads, clean water, and provide employment for the youth by teaching them manual labor, some of which I have already started,” he said.
Malawi is set to hold a general election to elect a new president, members of parliament, and regional leaders.
This election will be the seventh in Malawi’s multi-party democracy era, scheduled for September 16,2025.
