He has demanded Cabinet Reshuffle to bring in new people as a matter of urgency observing that the current cabinet has completely failed and civil servants hired through nepotism, tribe, religion and party affiliations must be fired with immediate effect.

The MRP President has also demanded commencement of lifestyle audit to determine how government officials are spending taxpayer’s money and that all government contracts awarded to people basing on political party affiliation must be dissolved and bringing to book all culprits involved in the money gates.

“k17 billion, K5 billion, K155 billion, K50 billion, K30 billion, Crossroad gates, 84 people named in ACB’s report, all these must be sent to Prison,” reads the statement in part.

Jumah said Malawi has lost 5 years of economic development observing that there is no hope in sight and the very same people that have destroyed the country cannot be entrusted to rebuild it in 18 months.

He said Malawi now more than ever needs and require fresh blood and new philosophers assuring all that MRP has come to change the political, economic and social strategy in Malawi lamenting that Malawi is not a country that must starve its people and visitors.
