A shocking and bizarre incident has stirred social media and community discussions as a woman and her secret lover were allegedly found stuck together during an adulterous encounter.
The event reportedly occurred due to the effects of “Magun”, a traditional African mystical charm known for exposing or punishing infidelity.
According to local reports, the woman’s husband, having suspected her of cheating, secretly placed the spiritual trap without her knowledge.
“Magun,” which means “do not climb” in Yoruba, is widely believed to be a potent charm used by aggrieved spouses to protect their homes from sexual betrayal.
As the story goes, the cheating couple allegedly found themselves unable to separate after engaging in the act, their physical union becoming painfully permanent.
Witnesses were said to be left in shock as the lovers cried for help, unable to explain their situation and too embarrassed to face the public shame.
The bizarre spectacle attracted a large crowd, some capturing videos while others called for traditional healers or law enforcement officers.
Traditionalists in the area believe that the only way to break the mystical bond is through a spiritual cleansing ritual performed by the one who cast the spell or by an experienced native doctor.
This incident has reignited debate about the continued use of traditional spiritual methods like Magun in modern relationships.
Some view it as a legitimate form of justice rooted in cultural heritage, while others criticize it as cruel and a violation of human dignity.
The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, has since become the subject of online ridicule and speculation.
Meanwhile, the alleged husband has not made any public comment, and it is unclear whether he will face legal or cultural consequences for deploying such a mystical trap.
As authorities and traditional leaders look into the matter, the incident serves as a chilling reminder of how deeply intertwined tradition and morality remain in parts of African society.
The story continues to trend under hashtags like #ebirablog9ja, #StayUpdated, and #trendinggist, highlighting society’s fascination with the mystical and the taboo.
Whether fact or folklore, the tale of the lovers trapped by Magun is one that continues to captivate and caution in equal measure.
