United Transformation Movement (UTM) President Dalitso Kabambe has presented certificates to the party’s parliamentary and local government candidates in the northern region.
The ceremony took place at Springs Park in Mzuzu, ahead of the September polls.
The event was attended by senior UTM officials, including Vice President for the Northern Region Catherine Mzumara and advisor to the president Mathews Mtumbuka.
Mzumara, who is also vying for the Mzimba North Constituency seat, emphasized that the certificate presentation demonstrates the party’s commitment to supporting its candidates.
By handing over the certificates, President Kabambe reaffirmed UTM’s determination to field strong candidates in the upcoming elections.
The move is seen as a crucial step in preparing the party’s candidates for the polls, showcasing UTM’s readiness to contest the elections.
