UTM President Kabambe picks up nomination papers for presidential elections

United Transformation Movement (UTM) Party President Dalitso Kabambe has collected his nomination papers for the upcoming presidential elections, the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has confirmed.

This brings the total number of presidential aspirants to eleven by end of Tuesday.

Kabambe’s decision to run for the presidency demonstrates his commitment to leading the country.The UTM president joins a growing list of candidates vying for the top seat.

The other aspirants include prominent figures from various parties, such as Lazarus Chakwera (MCP), Kondwani Nankhumwa (PDP), Atupele Muluzi (UDF), and Arthur Peter Mutharika (DPP).

The MEC has registered a diverse pool of candidates, reflecting the country’s vibrant democracy.

As the election season heats up, Malawians will be watching the campaigns and policies of each candidate closely.
