In his address, Dr. Usi paid tribute to the late Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima, acknowledging his role in introducing him to politics. Dr. Usi emphasized the need for a peaceful and fair electoral process, noting that while only one candidate can emerge victorious, all contenders must respect the will of the people. He urged fellow presidential candidates to accept the election results gracefully, reinforcing the importance of unity and stability in Malawi’s democracy.
